Selección de cartografía política
La cartografía como discurso político es un elemento relevante a analizar en relación al conflicto israelí-palestino. A continuación se ofrece una selección tentativa de imágenes que utilizan este tipo de cartografía. Antes de 1948, la producción de cartografía sionista de propaganda fue avasallante en comparación con la producción visual árabe y palestina. El desafío del nacionalismo palestino a partir de la segunda mitad de la década de 1960 implicó una lucha por la representación del espacio, que se busca representar con la segunda selección de mapas. Esta disputa continúa, aunque en buena medida trasladada a internet y las redes sociales, en los 2000, como vemos en la tercera selección.
